![]() In System Preferences > Sound, set the Output to Multi-Output Device, which I'd defined as Soundflower (64ch) + Internal Speakers / Headphones, so both the destination application and I can 'hear' the audio. Other alternatives include iShowU Audio Capture or Loopback. NOTE: The attached images are for reference and don't represent the working set up I've used. I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling OBS and Discord, to no difference, and then uninstalled all of the relevant software etc and then installed older versions of each application/add-on etc but none of it worked. But then, as the Mac audio archtecture started to change, Soundflower was left unchanged, and eventually began to fail when installed on OS X. I've tried everything I can think of, and followed the instructions of various OBS set-up and troubleshooting guides to no avail. Time was, you could set your Mac's main audio output to Soundflower, then choose Soundflower as an input in your DAW, and hey presto you got to record anything from your system within your DAW. It all worked fine up until that point and now OBS will not detect and record audio from Discord at all, no matter what I do to try and direct it to capture that source, and despite still recording other system sounds (such as music playing from iTunes). Since February 2020 everything we usually use to stream and record our audio and video has been beset with issues. ![]() I would really appreciate any advice and assistance with solving this issue please. I’ve tried restarting, but that doesn’t work either. I both downloaded and went through the installer several times, each time iShowU never pops up on any audio interface on my Mac. I learned recently that the developers of SoundFlower stopped working on their project, so I tried several times to install iShowU Audio Capture.
